Hi everyone! A few days ago I had an opportunity fall into my lap. My first thought when I was approached to sell this was, "Yea, right!" For myself, I was a believer in the Mary Kay products, but never thought in a million years that I would be the one selling it.
I have attended a few parties over the years and liked the products. My first experience was when I had a party with my good friend, Jessica. That was the first time I was introduced to Mary Kay. The second party I attended was at my sister in laws house. There I fell in love with more products, but I never thought in a million years that I would be the one selling it until recently. Finally, my dear friend Siera started selling and my first thought was "Yes! Someone I know is selling and I can buy from her now."After learning even more about the products that Mary Kay sells and thinking about this for days, I just felt in my heart that this was the right decision to make.
Why was it the right decision?
Everyone that knows me, knows that I am not the sales type of person. I hate making people feel like they have to buy from me. I hate making people feel obligated to spend their money on a product that they don't want just because I asked them too. I don't feel that it is being a friend to someone and the last thing I want is to jeopardize any relationships. I would not be selling this product if I didn't believe in it. This was the right decision for me for two honest reasons, one - to be able to have income for when I finally become a stay at home mom and two - is to make others believe in Mary Kay just as I have. I would be lying if I didn't say I wasn't doing this for the money, of course I am! There are many other companies that have sales consultants like Mary Kay, but none of them felt right at all. Mary Kay did. I am excited for you all to be apart of this journey with me.
Why do I love Mary Kay?
I can go on and on telling you that this product is so wonderful and fabulous, but why would you believe me? You're thinking, "You just want to make some money, so of course you are going to tell me what you want me to hear." Seriously, there is no way I would do this if I didn't completely love this product. (If I could sell Lilly Pulitzer, I would totally jump all over that. I'm just waiting for a Lilly Pulitzer store to come to the Fayetteville area haha)
Mary Kay has shown me numerous times that their products WORK! I can't even begin to tell you how good the eye makeup remover is, their CC cream, 3 in 1 cleanser, or their EYESHADOWS! And honestly, that does not even begin to scratch the surface of the products that I love. The eyeshadows glide on smoother than anything I have ever used and they stay on all day, the 3 in 1 cleanser makes my 'rush out the door look' easier than ever, and the CC cream always has the perfect match! I will post a blog later about my skin results from using the Skinvigorate cleansing brush.
Why am I writing a blog?
Like I mentioned in a previous section, I am not the sales type! I am a believer in this product and want you to believe too. I am going to be posting reviews of products, makeup tips and other fun posts that you can read at your own leisure.
